Casual Monday: Maxi Dress + an exotic twist!

Hello everyone!

First of all, I want to thank you all for your support! Blogging is definitely not a walk in the park, but I’m learning more and more every day and most of all, I’m going at my own pace and having fun while doing this, 🙂 so, please bear with me in the process of making my website, the quality of my images, my contents and everything in between pleasing and enjoyable to you! – Today’s outfit revolves around these matching ankara pieces. I adore how the earrings make a statement on their own. Sometimes, on those lazy days, I find it easy to just grab a statement piece and pair it with whatever simple or easy I want to wear and still look well-put together and polished. I think every woman should own a couple of statement pieces! They’re usually fun and come in handy whether you want to make a statement…Duh! 🙂 or you don’t feel like dressing-up but still want a certain look! I’m all about statement pieces, and can’t get enough of them. Do you believe in statement pieces? what are your best ways to incorporate them in your outfits?

P.S. For those of you who don’t know, “Ankara” is a popular fabric originally from Africa and commonly referred to as “prints”. It’s amazing though how the world is quickly jumping on board to incorporate these gorgeous prints into our modern-day looks from fashion to home decor. – I hope you enjoyed the pictures!

I was wearing:

I agree that blogging is not a walk in the park but because we love it, we all just take it one day at a time 🙂 Anyway love the earrings and clutch, they are such great accent pieces that work well with the dress and can be paired independently and look great too! Pretty smile!!
