For the past few months, I’ve been pretty consistent in my healthy eating habits journey; and I have to say that I’m happy about the changes that I’m seeing. We all know how beneficial it is for our overall health to eat clean. But most of the time, what we lack, once we made the decision to make a change and start the journey to a healthier, new, and fabulous us, is the ability to stay on that path. Clean eating can be challenging but not hard. Just like for most things in life, discipline is key! #MindOverMatter.
Green smoothie has been part of my eating habit for a while now and I can’t tell you enough about how well and energized I’m feeling! I usually start my day with a glass of smoothie. This would be my breakfast and I’m ready to got out there and conquer the world! 🙂 On a serious note though, I’m sure you’ve heard all the impressive nutritional benefits about drinking green smoothies or juicing. The energy that you gain, the clarity of mind, the radiant and healthy skin tone and hair, the overall healthier state and feeling… I can testify to all of the above. A well-made smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrients. This would be debatable for people who believe green smoothies are either packed with lots of sugar – Natural sugar from the fruits – for example or that green smoothies can cause a lot of constipation and bloating etc… The thing is, there are always pros and cons to most of the foods we’re eating, and we all have our opinions on if either something is good for us or not! This is the great thing about bio-individuality – we owe it to ourselves to choose what works best for us; and that’s actually a privilege!
