Happy Tuesday guys.
I hope April is off a good start. It’s been a minute… I have gotten a whole lot busy lately; and I’ve being delayed in sharing new contents with you. This is not an excuse, but a heartfelt apology to you guys. However, I thought I owe it to you, to come back with a bang; that’s why I’m posting this outfit I shot a few weeks ago at a bloggers’ event held at Le Méridien Chambers here in the Twin Cities.
If there was one thing I was certain about, it is the fact that my outfit was “a showstopper”! 😀 It literally was! Lol. While hubby and I didn’t intend to bust into a room full of people attentively listening to the panelists, it was however, exactly what we did. We were a few minutes late and things have gotten serious, until we stepped into the room and one of the panelists, literally stopped her speech and was staring at me, drawing everyone’s attention to our direction.
She then, exclaimed her admiration to my outfit… (Shrug! 🙂 ) In all honesty though, I was embarrassed for being late and stopping the show – Pun Intended – but at the same time, I was happy that it was in a good way. During that session, as the host provided some instructions for those who came late, my “disruptive” style was mentioned once more… in the form of a compliment, I’ll have you know! 😛
Needless to say that I did not need to introduce myself as a fashion and style blogger. These pants turned out to be a great ice breaker for me. After the “serious” informational panel, we followed-up with a Cognac tasting and co-mingling in Mercy’s lounge area; and I got to receive many direct and personal compliments and introductions.
Great moment with networking and laughters with fellow bloggers. It was a fun and informational evening.
Ok, less about the event, and more about this style! I’ve held onto this crop sweater top for a little while now, not knowing exactly how to sport it, for I’ve had so many different ideas in mind, but the way I was in love with it, I wanted how I would wear it to exhume nothing but FIRE! 😉 And I humbly believe I did!
These stunning sequined palazzo pants seemed to be the perfect accomplice to set this style on fire, just a little bit of pun intended! Ha! I know one would say that these sequined pants are not really in season for a Spring styling, but isn’t that the thing about fashion? The #1 rule? There are no rules! If you can rock it, go for it, and create the trend! – In other hands, I’m excited for Spring stylings and they will definitely be making their ways on the blog!
As always, thank you for visiting and have a terrific Tuesday!
Love & Light.
