I’m finally sharing with you guys the other way I styled this black floral print lapel-collar button-front blazer dress. If you haven’t seen Part One, you can check it out here! This floral print blazer dress is a great statement piece; and I know I will get a lot of use out of it. I fell in love with the prints, (Check out the top HERE) and I didn’t really know what to expect when it comes to the fit, but I have to say that I didn’t regret the purchase!
While I felt sassy – Sexy yet classy – while wearing the blazer dress on its own, I definitely also loved the classy and chic look when I paired with satin pants (previously shown here). I find the blazer dress to be versatile and you can’t really go wrong with either styling. It can also be dressed down with a pair of jeans or flats. These are just a few ideas that I’m throwing out there. If you are on a shorter side, it maybe a little too long styled as a blazer, but it’s definitely not impossible to pull off. It all depends on how you style it and the vibe you’re going for. 😉
As you can see in these pictures, I have shown both the option of a tailored look, where I cinched the waist with a belt, and the loose fit, a more relaxed vibe, without the belt.
I have to admit that I have felt more confident and sexier when I added the belt, and more comfortable without the belt. I think both ways are cute and, again, it depends on the vibe you’re going for.
What’s your preference? and if you’ve checked part one of how I styled this blazer dress, which one actually got your vote? Do share! And speaking of vote, how are you keeping centered with everything going on with the presidential elections? I have shared some words of wisdom with my Facebook friends that I’d like to share with you guys…
“When you can’t control what’s happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond to what’s happening. That’s where your power is.”
I hope you have a great day and cheers to a fabulous weekend.
Love & Light,
