Black, probably, is the dominant color in my wardrobe. No matter how much I try to stay away from buying new black apparels, I think I end up buying at least a couple more every time! Could it be the fact that it goes so well with everything and you, most of the time, can’t go wrong with it? Probably, yes. Probably no. I, for sure, am trying to color-up my closet. I’m talking more yellow, orange, pink, fiusha, etc… I cannot, however, promise to stay away from black… Who knows?
My all-black ensemble is church/office/meetings-perfect! A fitted blazer worn over a sleeveless skater dress and winter tight. A great transitioning outfit. In times when the temperature is warming up, I try to layer up more. This dress is so versatile and I can’t wait to style it more on the blog.
Have a lovely day!
Even though I live in the Midwest and February is far from being considered a warm month, I couldn’t help but think spring with the temperature rising up these last days! This bold print skater floral-stripe dress is on my wish list. I think skater dresses are perfect for any occasion – Church, wedding, parties, date night etc… – and they flatter almost every body shape. Quick note for us, the curvies: If you are top-heavy, I will suggest going one size up as they tend to be snug in the chest area. I have come to realize that with trials and errors, so learn from my mistakes! 🙂
I can totally see myself wearing this to church, especially with 1st communion consecrations coming up, to a daytime wedding or birthday party. The prints are beautiful and bold, not overpowering, which makes this dress a classic! 😉
I hope you’ ve had a lovely celebration with your loved-ones. What did you do? This year, we have switched things up a little bit in my household. My whole crew and I had a “romantic” dinner. While we were enjoying our meal in a nice restaurant after having partaken in some fun activities during the day, we talked about LOVE. Self-love, love between wife and husband or two partners. Love between siblings. Friendship’s love and also the love that God has for us and how we should love Him back. It was a magical night, as the girls were really happy to be part of our mommy and daddy’s Valentine’s Day dinner experience. It was so much more than I anticipated and I’m happy we decided to celebrate together with them. They said and I quote: “This was one of the best and most romantic dinner we’ve ever had” 🙂
This has to be one of the most impromptu posts I’ve had to create so far. I just didn’t have an inspirational outfit post planned for V-day this year. However, I do have one planned for next week, which I will be wearing tomorrow to celebrate the occasion, but seeing all the cute outfits on my Instagram this morning made me realize how my readers may actually appreciate an outfit post that can inspire their look for the day! Isn’t it all about being inspired and inspiring people along the way?
I would like to showcase a couple outfits that I have already shared here on the blog and that I think could be great choices to celebrate the romance. I hope you enjoy this last minute post and wish you a great time tomorrow with your loved-ones. XOXO
Sometimes, when I have to grab a quick lunch with the hubby, or a dear friend, or even a business partner, a simple dress with minimal to no accessory are all and everything that I want to wear. I like the ease of a little sweater dress in Winter or any cold or cool weather for this matter. Both the dress and coat were scored at H&M (on different and separate shopping occasions 🙂 ) and oh, how they go so well together! But who says an all-grey outfit has to be boring? 🙂 These fun and bright pumps and lipstick were the perfect addition to my all-grey affair… Sometimes, a little bit of sunshine is all we need in our life! Some days may not be as bright as the others, but we can chose to make them brighter with a positive attitude… and a dash of smile! 😉
P.S I hope you like the numerous pics as much as I do 😉
