Mad for plaid!

Mad for plaid! the skirt

Happy Friday darlings!

One of the ongoing trends this season is plaid! Plaid made its “comeback” and is everywhere! From scarves to shirts, from pants to skirts; even dresses, shoes, and purses, they seem to be the new neutrals! … And I have to admit that I’m stunned at how people are styling plaid with so much confidence and prettiness! 🙂 I don’t know if I can wear plaid from head to toe, but I’m loving the trend! if you are shy about sporting plaid from head to toe (like me),  but still want to incorporate the trend in your outfit without looking like a carnival amusement, (did I just say that?) here are a few ideas I put together for you!

The shirt! – A pretty Fall outfit for the holiday season! Don’t you think this plaid shirt and red lipstick add a little sass to an otherwise casual and simple look?

The scarf – Classic Chic!
The most subtle way to add the plaid trend to an outfit is accessorizing it with a plaid scarf! Fall being the layering season, you can never go wrong by adding a scarf to your outfit, whether you chose to dress it up or down! This beautiful lace skirt paired with this little gray top will be perfect for your holiday office party!

Ok. I have to admit, I never thought I’d be a fan of plaid/tartan, let alone write about it,  but let me simply put it this way: One of the many things I’m learning from blogging is stepping out of my comfort zone and taking risks. I’ve seen a couple of fabulous fellow bloggers rocking their plaids and I have been inspired! 🙂 I had lots of fun creating these sets and I would totally rock all the outfits above! Would you? Don’t be shy and tell us in the comment session below how you think you can style your plaid! 🙂
Thanks for reading and have a fabulous weekend!
