They say when in doubt, wear black. I say when in doubt, wear black and… pearls! Pearls for me are epitome of elegance, a classic that never goes out of style.Think Audrey Hepburn! When I saw Dior’s mise-en-Dior double pearls studs, I totally felt in love with them! It’s a different take of the common traditional pearl studs, but I wasn’t going to pay $290, so I had to look for a similar version! Thanks to Baubleblar it quickly became another addition to my closet. This trendy choker from Zara (Sold out) had to come in action. I also went the extra miles and kept all other accessories (found here, ) in the same style… And who says an LBD has to be boring? This one of a kind little black dress is certainly NOT! My kind of style. Even though a beautiful pair of pumps would have been a nice finish touch to this look, I wanted something more relax to play it down a little for the event we were attending. These little suede booties from Spiegel were just what I needed, and off we were to the evening!

Salut les amis! Ne dit-on pas que quand l’on ne sait pas trop quoi mettre, qu’il faut opter pour la couleur noire? Eh bien moi j’ajouterai qu’il faut opter pour le noir… et des perles! Pour moi, les perles, c’est l’epitome de l’élégance, un classic qui ne démode jamais… genre Audrey Hepburn! Je fus instantanément séduite par les boucles à deux perles de Dior, mais n’ayant aucune volonté de payer la somme offerte, il a fallu que je trouve des boucles semblables à un prix plus ou moins abordable. C’est alors que Baublebar m’est venu au secours! Ce collier de Zara, et autres accessoires du meme style furent aussi du jour! Qui a dit que la petite robe noire doit être sans style!? Celle-ci, du moins en a plein! C’est mon genre! Ces bottillons en suede de Spiegel ont favorisé un look plus ou moins relax comparativement à celui avec des pumps et c’est bien ce que je voulais par rapport au programme du jour!
The ladies here on the web, inspired me to make a quick stop in a nearby consignment store, and this little number was scored less than $10! I love the unique shape! The mirrored design, the vintage style… and the ” New York City” had me sold! 🙂
