Hello darlings 

The thing about little dresses, whether they’re black, yellow, white, or peach – like the one I’m wearing in this post – is that you can just throw them on and go about your day without trying too hard. If you ask me, when you had minimal to no sleep the night before, and yet you have to wake up early enough the following day for church, believe me, playing dress up would be the last thing on your mind; and cute little dresses usually come to the rescue! With a lively summer color and a zipper in the back that goes all the way down, this sheath dress is not after all your little “boring” black dress 🙂 ! And guess what? It doubled the duty from church to a barbecue with friends afterwards. I replaced my white mules with some casual wedges, added my derby floppy hat, got rid of the dressy white scarf (not pictured)… and voila! What is your go-to outfit for church when you don’t feel like dressing up?

Les petites robes (qu’elles soient noire, jaune, blanche ou encore d’une couleur orangée tout comme celle que je porte ici) sont souvent très pratiques en ces jours ou l’on ne ressent pas vraiment l’envie d’etre tiré à 4 épingles tout en voulant être bien habillé 🙂 . Imaginez donc que vous aviez peu dormi la nuit précédente et qu’il vous faudrait toutefois vous réveiller assez tôt le jour suivant pour vous rendre à l’église! La dernière chose à laquelle vous voudriez trop vous obstiner est votre habillement et en ce qui me concerne, “au secours, la petite robe coquette”. Avec une couleur aussi estivale et la fermeture qui, derrière, descend jusqu’au bas, cette robe-ci, apres tout, n’est pas votre “petite robe noire” habituelle 🙂 . Et tenez-vous bien: avec la jolie petite robe, j’en avais fait d’une pierre deux coups. – De l’eglise à un barbecue entre amis. – J’ai échangé mes chaussures blanches à talons, contre de simple nu-pieds compensés, j’ai mis un large chapeau d’été, et enfin, j’ai enlevé le foulard (pas montré dans ces photo) et voilà la petite transformation magique!:-)
