Hello darlings!
I hope you had a great 4th of July with your loved ones! My weekend was nothing like planned! I had to meet with a potential business partner on Friday which ended up not happening and I was a little bummed out, because I was looking forward to it and planned my whole day around that meeting. On the other hand, we spent the Friday evening at a small birthday celebration with closed friends at a Dave & Buster’s which was very fun. On Saturday, my family and I were supposed to take a 2 hours drive out of town and celebrate with our friends, but life had happened and we ended up not going. We did make it up to the kids – who were so looking forward to that trip – by having a family picnic by the lake, and then we had a front yard swimming session at home while hubby was grilling. In the evening, we had fun watching the fireworks as it has become a tradition for the kids and us. After all, it was a more relax yet very fun weekend; and I guess, It’s right to say that God always knows best.
Believe it or not, I’ve had this color block maxi dress for over a year… two years to be exact! I bought it in a Cache store (that is now closed) for a summer wedding, but I never got to wear it. Yeah, It happens a lot 🙂 my husband would say… but I really do love this ” rainbow ” dress and even though it was sitting in my closet for so long, I always looked forward to the day I will be wearing it. Let’s just say, I’m glad I held onto it until this day, because it was a hit a the graduation party that I wore it to. I chose to dress it down, keeping the accessories to a minimum, and letting the dress speaks for itself. Such a fun and colorful, spaghetti straps high low dress for a summer gathering.
