Sip Shop & Socialize Recap!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I’ve promised to tell you all about the Sip Shop & Socialized event that I held in honor of my blog’s anniversary and here we go! 🙂

Let me tell you straight up that things started a little rocky as we were running behind and I was the most nervous I think I’ve ever been! When you have guests waiting at the door and you know the room is not even set up yet, you know a panic attack is synonymous of your name.  I’m not even going to go into details about why things haven’t started as planned, but I’m happy to say that it all came together and at the end of the day, it turned out to be a fun and lovely celebration. Glory be to the Lord!

I was wearing this beautiful gown from Unik-elegance and truth be told, this was a last minute rescue 🙂 The gorgeous skirt set that I had bought for the event ended up being too tight. Yes, I’ve gained a lot within a few weeks, and I’m sure you all can tell… But yes, long story short, this dress came in just in time for my event, thanks to my hubby who was listening when I first saw this gown on the website and thought it was something I would like to own. I was literally panicking about what to wear when the package came and he presented it to me and said: “Why don’t you try this dress out”.  You can say that he has saved the day and, I know, he’s awesome! Eventhough, I think the picture didn’t do justice to the dress (Maybe it was me 🙂 ), I love the dress, and I plan on wearing it again for a photo shoot for the blog. Once again, I would love to extend my gratitude and appreciation to my sponsors: EZ Stop, Unik-elegance, SexyTogolais, Bah Deh, Anekelslimlife, Rana Hair Salon, Jack Beguedou from Farm Bureau Insurance, to the special people in my life: my awesome husband,  my beautiful daughters, my family and friends who were supportive and helped in making this event a successful one, to the amazing disk joker DJ Ricardo, to the photographer of the night Sergio Moreira who beautifully captured the moment, to the one and only master of ceremony MC Junior… and to all who despite their busy schedule came to celebrate with me and even to those who would have loved to be there but couldn’t make it! Coucou les amis!

Comme promis, voici le récapitulatif de la commémoration du 1er anniversaire de mon blog! 

Je dirai que la soirée a plutôt commencé du pied gauche… Nous étions déja en retard d’une bonne heure, retard dû à certains évènements malencontreux cet après-midi du 30 Aout. Arrivés à l’ endroit retenu pour l’occasion, certains invités ainsi que ceux qui devaient nous aider à apprêter les lieux attendaient à la porte… et laissez-moi vous dire, je n’avais jamais été autant nerveuse de ma vie ! Mais, comme pour tout enfant de l’Eternel, tout est bien qui finit bien ! 😉

J’ai porté cette belle robe rouge d’Unik-elegance, et à vrai dire, ce fut une robe qui tombait à point nommé ! L’ensemble jupe et corsage prévu pour l’occasion “soudainement” devenu trop serré et, bien entendu, Panique Totale !!! Mon magnifique mari qui, à mon insu avait commandé la robe qu’il m’avait entendu mentionner quelques jours plus tôt, me la présenta en souriant… « Alors, pourquoi n’essaies-tu pas celle-ci ? » me dit-il…

Je dirai que les photos ci-après ne font pas vraiment justice a la ravissante robe rouge (ou c’est peut-être moi), mais je compte bien la porter encore pour une séance photo et en faire tout un article ! 

Une fois encore, j’aimerais remercier mes sponsors : EZ Stop, Unik-elegance, SexyTogolais, Bah Deh, Anekelslimlife, Rana Hair Salon, Jack Beguedou de Farm Bureau Insurance ; les magnifiques personnes qui comblent ma vie, en l’occurrence mon merveilleux mari et mes adorables filles ; les membres de ma famille et amis qui m’ont soutenue, aidée et ont fait de cette soirée une réussite ; le disk joker DJ Ricardo, le photographe de la soirée Sergio Moreira qui a superbement capturé cet évènement, le seul et unique maître de cérémonie MC Junior… et bien-sûr tous ceux qui, malgré leurs multitude de choses à faire, ont pu se dégager pour célébrer avec moi ; et même ceux qui auraient bien aimé venir, mais n’ont pas pu ! Je vous en remercie du tréfonds de mon cœur et vous dis : « que Dieu vous garde ; et vivement le 2^e anniversaire d’Hypnoz Glam !!! »
