My daughter reads my blog!

Hello darlings!

Yesterday was this beautiful, smart, and loving young lady that I call my daughter’s birthday! She had a blast! During our family dinner in honor of her birthday at one of her favorite place, she asked me:

Pearla-Lynn : “So Mommy, when are you going to write a post about me on your blog?”  

Me: Blank Stare. – and then: “Do you actually read my blog, Pearla?”

Pearla-Lynn: “Of course, I do (Big smile) and I love it. You are my favorite Fashion Blogger!

Me: “Your favorite blogger? Who else do you follow?”

Pearla-Lynn: “(Laugh) I meant you are my only favorite fashion blogger, but I looked to see my picture this morning and I didn’t see it…”

Me: Blank Stare… and smile: “Why don’t you check back on the blog tomorrow honey? I promise you will see your picture then.”

Of course I will spare you the rest of the conversation, the part about her telling me what to write and all…! 🙂

So, my 11 years old reads my blog and she was expecting a blog post in honor of her birthday yesterday and she didn’t see one… Did I just lost my chance to win the #1 Mommy Of The Year Award!? 🙂 Hummm, an awkwardly-guilty feeling moment for me… but you know what? I have to redeem myself! Here I am kicking my scheduled post to the curve and showing some love to baby girl!

So Baby Girl, if you’re back on the blog, reading this, this is to wish you one more time the best of birthdays! Words can’t describe how much we love you! You are growing into such a beautiful, caring, smart and loving young lady! You are the perfect gift from above! Blessed I am to call you, darling, my daughter! I love you! We love you!!!
