Bohemian Vibe | Cold Shoulder Dress + Brown Flat

Happy Friday beauties!

Another week that went by so fast. What are your plans for the weekend? This cold shoulder dress has quickly become a summer favorite. It’s fun, flirty, comfortable, and bright! It’s a summer perfection!

The simplistic aspect and easiness of the dress may make you think “super casual” or even too “homie” and not blog worthy, if you’re a style blogger like myself; and maybe think outfit posts have to be a certain way before making it to the blog… The heck does that even mean right!?

Well, I think there’s nothing wrong with being casual on the blog and being relatable.

In fact, I strongly believe in inspiring my readers through my every day looks, not wearing a high-end fashion  ensemble on every blog posts for example. I’m a “libre cours” kind of stylist and blogger… ‘Libre cours’ meaning normal flow or literally translated “Free Flow”…

My #Ootds are outfits you will see me wearing in real life to go just about my day, whether it’s in the park, office/meetings, or special events. Every single moment of this life is a blessing, why just showcase and glorify some and not all…? 🙂 

Now, here’s the thing… It’s one thing to be casual without being frumpy, but it’s another thing to be casual yet chic… and that, for me, is the “Thing”: casual-chic! 😉

When Kimora Lee Simmons said: “Always Dress like you’re going to see your worst enemy”, I mean, did she read my mind? Just kidding 🙂 On a serious note though, I think people misunderstand being casual to… putting on the first thing you see in your closet. 😀  

Remember, your appearance matters! First impression counts! Unfortunately, in this world full of judgments, you’ re going to be perceived and judged by the way you look and present yourself.

And a little suggestion? Always add your flair of style and personality to your outfit… Casual or not so casual.

Now, can you tell that the sun was high up bright and that I enjoyed having my photos taken in this cute little number? I’m sure these cognac/brown flats will make their appearance on the blog again. They are so versatile…
