Happy Thanksgiving, friends.
With a heart full of gratitude, I want to make a quick stop here not only to wish you a happy thanksgiving and to thank you for being part of my journey and for continually supporting me, but to also share some wise words of gratitude with you. Even though life can get really crazy and overwhelming at times with all of our different issues – issues which make it hard to remain grateful at all times, I realize that shifting our perspectives to see the good in everything is the key to true happiness.
Today, as you celebrate with loved ones, I want you to shift your perspective and turn your complaints into gratitude; and here’s an article I previously shared that never gets old.
So what am I grateful for?
I’m grateful for…
1- Early wake-ups = Children to love
2- House to clean = Safe place to live
3- Laundry = Clothes to wear
4- Dishes to wash = Food to eat
5- Crumbs under the diner table = Family meals
6- Grocery shopping = Money to put food on the table
7- Toilets to clean = Indoor plumbing
8- Lots of noise = People in my life
9- Endless questions about homework = Kids’ brains growing
10- Sore and tired in bed = I’m still alive!
What are you grateful for?
I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving!
Love & Blessings,
Edwige.
