As a brown woman, and mother of 3 brown girls, I want to encourage every brown girl or brown woman seeing this post, to embrace their true genuine beauty. Black is beautiful; and we come in all shades of black, different type of hair, curly, kinky, nappy, locs, short, long etc.

Whether you choose to wear your hair in its natural state or not, short or long, in protective styles, braided or weaved, we are all beautiful.

Be confident in your skin and do not apologize for who you are; and if you need any reminder of how beautiful you are, here’s one for you: The world has crowned a black African woman – who chose to wear her nappy short hair on this crucial occasion – the most beautiful woman in the Universe. This is an extremely powerful and incredible moment curved in history forever; and we ought to be proud!

Let us all congratulate Zozibini Tunzi, Miss Universe 2019 for this incredible win! Her beauty was undeniable but she also gave one of the most beautiful and powerful answers… Teaching our girls about leadership, and encouraging them to take up space in the world is very important.

A shout out also goes to Miss USA, Miss America, Miss Teen who, for the first time in history, are all BLACK WOMEN!

Hello baby!! Im so happy to see you blogging again! I really missed you and I kept thinking about you hoping you are okay. Yes brown girl, Edwige, you are beautiful and there is no one like you. 😉 Sending you lots of good thoughts and bisous. x x x x x x
