Happy first day of Fall y’all! Can you believe we’re about to enter the fourth and last quarter of 2020?! 2020 has been quite the year for us all, to say the least… but I encourage you to keep going strong. Don’t throw in the towel; let’s finish strong together.
When I think about the day I wore this dress, all I could remember was how joyful and cheerful I was! I could say that it has a lot to do with the beautiful sunny day, the beautiful place or the dress I was wearing, because it’s a gorgeous, fun and lovely dress.
However, in that very moment when these pictures were taken, I saw around me people that were enjoying themselves whether alone or with loved ones, in a place full of strangers even though we all have most likely one common fear submerging our minds: Covid-19!
For a moment, it seemed like everyone has let their guard down and was just living in the moment while taking precautionary measures, of course. I’m saying all this to say that in moments of despair or desolation, all we have is the present, which is a gift in itself, and we must rejoice in it.
For a few moments, the fear of the pandemic was no longer a strain on my mind, and I twirled, laughed, and was just in the moment of having a fun photoshoot in my Ric Rac off the shoulder dress by Lisa Marie Fernandez for Target. If there was one thing that I was reassured about that day, it’s that joy definitely is contagious.
If you have to take anything away from my blogpost today, beside the fact that this is a gorgeous dress and I look beautiful in it if I might say so myself :), remember to always live in the moment, no matter what you’re going through.
The next day or the one after next, for that matter isn’t promised, so each time you get to be somewhere fun or do something you like, enjoy to the fullest, and be grateful for the present. Nothing you probably haven’t heard before, but don’t we all need a gentle reminder of that from time to time!?

Thank you for the reminder V. Coincidentally Fall is the season when I’m at my happiest. I never understood why. It brings me so much joy that I make sure to live it all out.
