It’s fair to say that Spring has been in full effect these past few days. Even with the intermittent rains and rain showers, we were lucky enough to experiment some bright and sunny days. When the temperatures hit the 70’s, you don’t want to be the one missing out on the beautiful weather, so shoulders and legs were out on the streets, and this green floral jumpsuit is definitely one to be taken out for a spin.
The floral prints and silk fabric are such a breath of fresh air; and I love that the jumpsuit is lightweight and breathable. You probably can’t notice it, but I purposefully wore the jumpsuit backward to create an open collar line and a little bit of an off-the shoulder vibe. I love how it turned out; and it also gives a pants set vibe, which many have commented on as a set. Best of both worlds right? As far as accessories go, I went with white and off-white with my bag and shoes to compliment the underlying neutral tone of the jumpsuit, but most importantly to keep them at the minimal. These ASOS woven cross strap heeled sandals complimented the bamboo stripes of my bag beautifully. This is a nice Spring outfit for brunch or a Sunday outing; and one of my favorite recent thrifted pieces. Yes, you read it right! I thrifted this brand new Fashion Nova beautiful number from a friend. The jumpsuit runs at least one size large, but I made it work, and I’m glad I snagged it. What do you think? Are you ready for more Spring looks? I picked a few similar floral jumpsuits for you to shop from, below.
Thank you for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend,
Another day to be grateful for. March has flown by so fast, and it feels good to experience brighter and sunnier days here in the Midwest. While I’m excited to share Spring fashion and styles with you guys, I still have a few transitional styling waiting to be uploaded on the blog, so bear with me.
This neutral nude outfit is definitely one of my favorite styles this season. I love how the color combination has turned out and I have to admit, I felt pretty sexy in this outfit. The fit is fierce and sassy and calls for a fun night out with the girlfriends.
Since we can’t quite put our jackets or coats away yet, this two-tone camel coat will certainly be on repeat on those brisk mornings and breezy nights! Oh, and these faux leather shorts!? Sexy meets classy! I love them and have them in black as well. They are versatile and I think they will be cherished for years.
So what do you guys think of this look? Would you wear it?
Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day and new month ahead. Love & light, Edwige
If you owe a belted knit cardigan, then you know how versatile they are. I love belted cardigan because you can quickly throw them on any outfit and go about your day. They are great transitional layering pieces that are perfect for all seasons. I owe a few belted cardigans, and I’m happy to be adding this belted knit oversized one to my collection. I love the color and the sleeves; also the quality is to die for.
In this post I style my fairly new belted cardigan two ways to show how you take it a notch and dress it up, or keep it casual yet chic. If you know me well, you know I love monochromatic look, especially during winter, so for a more conservative and elegant look, I styled the belted knit cardigan with a midi length knit skirt in the exact color. In fact, even though I bought the cardigan and the skirt separately, you can easily consider this two combination a matching set; and the sleeveless turtleneck top, was the perfect tone that helped to create the monochromatic look I was going for. In term of shoes, I went for these white wide boots for a classy yet edgy look. The all neutral styling gives me a warm and cozy vibe and I think this a cute and elegant outfit for brunch, a casual date night with the girlfriends and even the office, especially when you switch up the white booties with some black heels or tall boots.
Now when you pair this belted knit cardigan with a nice pair of jeans, the vibe is different nevertheless beautiful and chic. In all honesty, I can’t tell which vibe or outfit I prefer the most… that’s how much I love them equally, but I would love to hear your thoughts, so share away:-)
Off, I go!
As always, thank you for visiting my blog and have a lovely day!

The funny thing about getting older… your eyesight gets weaker, but your ability to see through the BS gets much better.
My momma used to tell me that no matter what you say or do, people will always talk about you, or speak ill of you… and it’s fine, because such is life. Just do you.
Mama was right! I may not fully understand then, because I was younger and maybe naïve, but today, with accrued experience, I do! In turn, I teach my kids the same important values my mother has taught me and I speak words of encouragement and positivity into them every single day. They may or may not fully understand or grab it today, because they’re still young and naive, but it’s okay. I know I’m raising them to grow and glow into strong, beautiful, and kind women and leaders… As they do so, it will make more sense to them, as it does to me today.
People are going to judge you no matter what you do. Be kind, be loving, and do all things to the best of your ability… and if they do judge you, they’re going to judge you on your best! – Just Do You.

Nothing says spring like a beautiful colorful slip dress; and while I can’t promise you that you won’t be seeing any more of my winter fashions, I wanted to give you a glimpse of Spring fashion today with a dose of all shades of pinks and blush.
This Dress is about a year old. A love at first sight when I saw it at Target, but for the love of God, I can’t wrap my mind around why I’m only styling it now. I found it in the closet a few weeks ago with the tags still on, and when I put it on, I fell in love with it all over again, and of course, I had to share it with you guys.
As you can see, the colors are beautiful and the pleats and color block are a total bonus. Since the dress is such a cute statement piece on its own, I wanted to keep all accessories to the minimal; and shoes-wise, I went for these pretty and fun pink velvet bow slingback from ASOS. I love these shoes. Let’s just say that each and every styling piece in this outfit has its own little thing going on; and I’m glad they all come together in a pretty and elegant way. Sometimes, less is more and that’s the vibe I’m getting from this look.
What do you think of this outfit? While the dress is currently sold out, I’m sharing some similar ones below that you can shop from. Hello Spring!
As always, thank you for visiting my blog, and have a wonderful day.
