How to Style A Purple Blazer + Fun Colorful Skirt

Happy Monday beauties,

How are we already in mid-November? Like they say, time waits for no man; and 2022 has certainly been on a speed train, especially this last quarter. I’m seeing folks already starting with their Christmas shopping and decoration, and I ask myself, how is this even possible that we are already almost at year-end and planning end of year festivities? Are you shopping and decorating for Christmas already? I’m giving myself another week to come to terms with the fact that Christmas will be here soon enough… I mean, can we celebrate Thanksgiving first? 🙂

Anyways, let’s talk about this bright, fun, and colorful outfit. when it comes to my outfit choices, I have been living a lot more lately in colors (like HERE and HERE); and I think this look has been one of my favorite colorful looks I styled this year. I love that it’s bright and fun, and classy at the same time. It’s a versatile look that will take you from day time activities to cocktail hour or dinner-date with a friend. Each one of these pieces brings a cheerful vibe to the look and tells a story of their own; and that’s exactly what I love about fashion. No matter how many times you style a piece of cloth, it always tells a new story every time. They are ever-ending and make you wonder about what’s next to tell. 🙂

I hope you enjoy today’s outfit post.

Happy Monday!

Summer has come and gone. It has been full of great activities and whole lot of fun, but I’m here for the warm and cozy weather of autumn. Though it feels like the month of October just flew by, I did enjoy it. After all, it is my favorite month of the year! 🙂 Shout of to all the October babies here, especially my #LibraGang 🙂

If you think I’m behind the fashion season and whatnot this year, you’re right, I am; but bear with me. I’m working on Fall content, and they will hit the blog soon. In the meantime, enjoy this fun and bright monochromatic look I wore to the airport while my husband and I were heading to our wellness resort and spa in Carefree AZ. – I shared content about this look and some others on Instagram. You will also see a lot about our stay at the resort there, so if you’re not following me there, you are missing out. 🙂 It’s not too late though, go check it out! 😉

Well, that’s all for today. Leave me a comment, if you like what you see here, and yes, I linked similar options for you to shop bellow.

Off I go! 🙂

Orange is the new black | Cut out padded maxi dress

black-blogger-content-creator-orange-dress-hypnozglam

Happy Tuesday Beauties,

Another day to be grateful for, another outfit post to share with you all , though this sexy orange number is a dress I wouldn’t have worn before; not even during my teenage years, not even when I had a flatter belly and/or narrower midsection. Why?
Simply because of the morals I was raised upon. A well-educated girl, or a grown woman, or a Christian, or a lady, or a married woman, or all of the above shouldn’t show too much skin, her mid-section/belly in public… feel free to insert any other societal construct you want in here… but I digress.

I’m in a period of my life where I’m embracing every part of my journey, my body, my femininity, my flaws, and my assets to regain my true inner confidence, despise the many changes throughout the years, to accept who I have become while working toward the woman I’m truly destined to be. This journey has no destination, as I don’t really know where it’s taking me, but I am enjoying every single moment of it! I’m enjoying the process.

While I’m not advocating for anything I’m saying here, I just want women to know that
the journey of healing, the journey of doing the work is never done. We continue to grow, evolve, and uncover new depths of self.

One mistake I see a lot of women (including myself until up to some point of my life) make is thinking that doing the work is separate from building your empire, following your dreams, and still being a badass.

The two work together and go hand in hand! You don’t need to stop your life and wait to be “healed”.

There is nothing that forbids or prevents you from being a creator of your destiny; not even healing!
SO… let’s go girl! Embrace every part of your journey, do the work, go through the healing the way only you think is good for you, but just don’t sit on the sidelines. Go through it. Live through it.🧡

Thank you for coming to my TED talk:-) and if you love the look, check below for shopping links.

Lacing Up Yellow MIDI Dress

yellow-midi-lace-up-dressHappy Monday, beauties.

Yellow has literally been my color lately. For some reasons I have been drawn to it more than usual; and it has been so flagrant that I have received comments from friends and family on how for the last few weeks, the vast majority of my outfits had been yellow or another variant of the color yellow.

Coincidence, you may say? Maybe! Divine order or alignment? Most definitely, in my humble opinion.

Here are some meaning of the color yellow (If you don’t know).

Yellow is for happiness, hope, and spontaneity. It’s youthful full of positivity. It represents the sun, sunflowers, and joyful, smiley faces.

Yellow is also a color that stimulates our nerves, glands, and brain, making us more alert and energized. It boosts our memory and encourages communication.

I’m sure there are more meanings of the color yellow, so if I’m missing anything here, feel free to share it in the comment session with me and other readers.

Will you be wearing bright colors during Fall – which is already upon us? Or will you be sticking with Fall’s earthtones colors?

Talk soon 🙂
