I hope your Valentine’s Day weekend has been as lovely as you wish. Mine definitely was. While ce can all agree that celebrating the person you love or care about shouldn’t be a one holiday kind of thing, we must also admit that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger; and I personally don’t mind an extra special day on the calendar to spend some more magical time with my love. Anyways, it was a beautiful day and we both are happy and grateful for the experience. I have shared a glimpse of our Valentine’s Day morning and date night on my Instagram and Facebook. You can follow me there for more behind the scenes moments.
Anyways, I wanted to make a quick stop here and share these photos with you guys. Sometimes, the most spontaneous or impromptu shoots can turn out to be the most beautiful ones; and this is one of those shoots. It was in between outfits change and I thought: “Hey! I feel warm and cozy yet sexy wearing these lace prints opaque tights with my comfortable teddy coat. Let’s get some snaps!” Et voilà. If you ask me, they turned out great, so they made it to the blog. Moral of the story? Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and trust your gut. Don’t sweat it too much. 🙂 That’s all for today. Off I go.
Another day not deserved, but He saw it fit! This outfit has been shot a few months ago, honestly; and as much as it could be considered a lost file, I have to say that’s not always the case. I have been behind with some of my content due to the fact that I needed to be up to date with some holidays and sponsored content which put some outfit content on the back burner. Anyways, life is all about prioritizing, and I’m glad to be finally sharing this sporty chic look with you guys.
If you live in the Midwest, you know that we are still bundling up heavily here, and we got to do it fashionably. When I got this puffer cropped jacket I fell in love with it. It is cute and comfortable and has many functional features: Inside pockets to keep your phones, cards etc… it’s very warm and the color is a unique one that stands out. The color matches my leggings which I also previously got from the same company, so it was no brainer to style them together to create a monochromatic sporty chic look. I love how it turned out whether with the Nike running shoes or the heels.
What do you think? Which styling got your vote?
Puffer jacket: Fabletics | Leggins: Fabletics| Shoes: Nike Women | Sweater: Tj Maxx | Hat: Tj Maxx | Heels: Zara
As always, thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you make it a great day.
Happy Valentine’s Day ! Where did time go? Cliché, I know, but seriously though… Didn’t we just pivoted into February like yesterday? Time is really flying by, which means Spring will be there before we know it. If you’re already shopping for Spring or need a chic, sexy, and romantic mini blazer dress in your life, you’ve got to have this one. it’s a beautiful, head-turning, and conversation-starter dress. The pink puff sleeves certainly make the dress; and I love the clean and elegant cut and style of the blazer. This is one of those classic and elegant pieces with a twist that you would want to own. Plus, the mini blazer dress can also serve as a blazer that can be dressed up with some nice leather leggings, a pair jeans, slacks, or shorts. The versatility of styling this piece is endless.
I wanted a classy yet sexy spin on this dress, so I chose to layer it up with these playful tights and some gold and classy accessories that don’t take anything away from the dress.
In my book, this is a pretty nice Valentine’s Day-inspired date night outfit and you can also reproduce this look, if you have a similar blazer dress, but you definitely want to add this unique mini blazer dress to your closet. Make sure to grab yours HERE! 😉
Thank you for stopping by and show some love to yourself. – Happy Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is this weekend and I know that due to the world pandemic, most people would have to celebrate at home. Sure, It’s has become our new normal, but it doesn’t have to be boring. Here are 5 things you can do at home with your partner or girlfriends if you have to celebrate at home for any reason:
1 – Candlelight Dinner: Order some food in or look up some new recipes on Pinterest and cook together then have a nice candlelight dinner date with your partner/friends. To make it even more special, clean yourselves up nicely, and pretend you’re in a five-star restaurant and enjoy your delicious meal.
2- Movie night with some late night snacks: Netflix and chill may not be your typical romantic Vday date, but trust me, sometimes Valentine’s Day or not, all you need is a calm and cozy night in the comfort of your PJs. Prepare some of your favorite late night snacks (we love these treats from Liana’s Cake Pops) and watch one or two romantic movies or TV shows in your cute Valentines Day-inspired loungewear.
3- Dance the night away: Transform your home into a disco bar or a night club and dance on some of your favorite playlist, and reminisce on old times. Go all in by picking a fun and sexy outfit as if you were going out to dance. You should probably put the kids to bed before, because we all can imagine how this will end especially after some sensual slow dance. 🙂
4 – Toast to love: If you can’t go to a wine tasting event, bring your own wine tasting home. Pick up a couple of new wines and experience them around a charcuterie board. Cheers!
5- Game night: Game nights are always fun. You put your mind to work and you laugh it up around some snacks and bubbly. A couple of our favorite adult games are “Dirty Mind, the games of naughty clues.” and “The ultimate game for couples.” If you’re having some couple friends over, you can play the ” How well do you know your partner.” It’s all fun and game… Unwind.
I’m not very big on trends, and I don’t try to fit with the crowd… Why would I? Aren’t we imperfectly unique as individuals!? 😉 However, when the trend is right up my alley, I don’t have a problem following that, but rest assured that I will bring my own twist to it. Anyway, enough about me and all this trend topic, but I’m getting somewhere, trust me. 🙂
Leather on leather is one of the biggest trends this season, as faux-leather pieces are everywhere you turn, and the stylings are really easy on the eye. If you’ve missed how I styled these leather pants in a previous post, check it out here. As you can see, I’m putting them on repeat here, and mix match the look with a another neutral leather piece . This faux-leather shirt or blazer is a one of kind. I love the rich cognac nude color and the classic fit with a matching removable belt. I kept the look polished, classy, and cozy for those cool weather outings. I have to say that I love how this look turned out. What do you think? Would you wear it?
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.
