My Journey To Healthy Living!

Hello Beauties,

I hope you’re having a great start to the new week.

One of my goals in 2019 is to practice a lot of self-care and reclaim my health.

Most of the time, when we hear self-care, we ultimately think of the day at a spa, a good massage, a great manicure-pedicure… all of which are really important for any women’s sanity.

However, for me, self-care is also making sure I’m reading at least once a day. Self-care is following through my commitment of saving more money. Self-care is giving myself permission to have some alone time, during the day, to reflect, pray, meditate, or to just quiet my mind… And last but not least, self-care is taking good care of my body, my mind, and my soul.

Our health is more important than anything on this earth; and if we don’t take care of our body, treat it like a temple, our health will certainly deteriorate.

Sometimes, we even neglect our own health in the effort of taking care of our loved ones and the people we are serving; but before we can do that to its full extend, we must take care of ourselves first; because we just can’t pour from an empty cup, as it would only lead to our ruin.

One way I decide to take care of me this year, is to invest in a safe and beneficial nutrition line that will help me boost my energy and cleanse my gut while choosing the right food to put inside my body.

health-and-nutrition-post

Trust me, I’ve done a lot of cleanses, diet programs, you name it! Some were a total waste of time and money. Some of them did work to the extent of only reaching a plateau weight. However, after the many trials and errors and some extensive research, I’ve discovered a new healthy living lifestyle program that is amazing; and I’ve decided to share it with the world!

So the first of April, next week, some amazing women have decided to trust and join me on a 30-days cleansing and healthy eating challenge.

We are reclaiming our health by investing time, knowledge, money, and intentional actions in ourselves. And if you ask me, no amount of any of these is truly worth our health!

While most people think of healthy eating and cleansing as the solution to a weight gain, that is only partially true.

The right cleansing program and products will detox and cleanse your body from toxins and impurities; but it will also help you get your mind right. It basically gives you more clarity, more energy, a clear vision, better sleep, a brighter and tighter skin, a better digestive system, a better performing liver… and the list goes on! If that isn’t a huge step toward a healthier and happier you, I don’t know what that is!

As I mentioned earlier, one of my biggest goals this year is not only to commit myself to a healthier lifestyle all around, but to also empower and help other women to do the same. I can’t tell you enough about the awesome feeling that I have knowing that I can or I am actually doing that.

I’m super excited to have these incredible and amazing women joining me on this journey; and my mission is to inspire and help as many women as possible (and men too) to reclaim and build their health, to invest in their personal and career growth and to see themselves transformed into their absolutely fabulous and best selves!

It all starts with making the decision to make a change, and to bet on yourself.

I can’t tell you enough, how proud I am of these amazing ladies that are joining me, for loving themselves enough to say “yes” to this 30 days -and beyond- journey to a healthier lifestyle!

It may not be easy, but we know that together, we can do it, and we are looking forward to the amazing transformations. – I will document mine here – We’re giving ourselves the power to love and improve ourselves because we are worthy of a healthy life.

Would you join my tribe? Would you commit to a healthier lifestyle? Would you let me help you? Send me an e-mail at hypnozglam@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to assist you.
Remember, it starts with YOU!

Love & Light,

Edwige

Date night with the husband in a green striped jumpsuit.

Hello beauties,

I had a fun night out with my husband a couple of weeks ago, in this fabulous yet budget-friendly green striped jumpsuit; and this jumpsuit is the epitome of “comfort meet style”!

Even though it was a casual date night, this jumpsuit served well as an elegant and cute look. My handsome husband was not looking too shabby for the night either in his burgundy semi casual velvet blazer! 😉

Thanks to our friends at the Graduates Hotels Minneapolis, we started our date at their new Top Golf Suites and ended the evening with some delicious meals at The Beacon Public House.

Such a fun and classic night spent with my mister; and we both agreed that we would love to revive this experience!

When going on a date that requires you to do some extra activities, always remember that comfort is key. You do not want to feel stuck up or feel uncomfortable the whole time. Love this outfit? You can shop the look at the end of this post. XO 🙂

Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!
XOXO,

6 Things to do for a successful 2019

How-to-have-a-successful-year

Happy Monday beauties,

Often, we all need a little bit of inspiration here and there; and today, I feel that I should share with you these 6 things that, I believe if you follow will help you achieve your goals this year.

1 – Meditate and Pray

Daily meditations, affirmations, and prayers are a life-changer, whether you believe in God, the universe, or the source.

2- Set Realistic Goals

New year resolutions are quite frankly becoming “old things”. Why? Well, because, for whatever reasons, they’re hard to stick to. “The new year, new me” phrase has gotten so much cliche, but I believe that as long as you set realistic and measurable goals, you should be able to work towards them and make things happen. – Read the post “Goals vs Commitments” HERE for more insights on the subject.

3- Choose A Word Of The Year.

If you don’t know, this is being the new “it” thing most “goals diggers” are leaning towards these days. As mentioned earlier, new year’s resolutions can be complex things to do. Not that people can’t and don’t stick to them. It’s statistically proven that less than 22% of ‘new-year-resolutioners’ actually keep up with and meet their goals! If you do, Bravo! More power to you and keep up with the great work! However, choosing a word for the year gives you more chance to be focused on that very word which, in many ways, will ultimately help in staying focused in achieving your goals. – Need more insights on this subject? This article may help.

4- Be consistent

Consistency is key in everything we do. You can’t achieve anything if you are not consistent in what needs to be done to get there. This is something dear and near to my heart that I’m working on everyday.

Being consistent with the little things as reading my devotional everyday, for example or being consistent with my blog is critical for me to get to where I want to be. When you want great results, you’ve got to keep doing what needs to be done – Like they say, content is king, but consistency is queen !

5- Get inspired.

It’s a great and smart thing to look for inspiration in others, but learn to remain true to yourself. Trying to be someone you’re not and copying their every little moves will not do you any good. The only thing it would is keep you from being or becoming who you’re truly destined to be.
You can find inspiration in people, books, social media, TV shows, art… pretty much almost everywhere as long you keep your eyes and mind open for those bits and pieces, but make it your own. Add that touch of YOU! Authenticity is a quality that is not only easily recognized and applauded, but it will take you a long way.

6- Have faith and believe in yourself!

Have faith in God or whatever higher power you believe in and believe that you can do great things. If you don’t believe in yourself, (no one else will and) you can’t accomplish anything! An undeniable key to success is believing in one self.

Not everyone is highly talented and too smart (sorry, but it’s the truth), but anyone that believe in their ability to work hard, practice, and make things happen and succeed, in fact, will succeed even when they’re not talented! – BELIEVE TO ACHIEVE!

Bonus

Read more, learn new things, do more of what you love, travel when you can, have meaningful conversations. Life is too short and too precious to be wasted on things that take you nowhere. This year, try to invest your time in doing things that will help you be the best version of yourself.  (See more about reading here! )

Thank you for reading and make it a great week.

Love & Light,

Edwige

Girl Boss & Future Girl Boss

fashion-blogger-and-her-daughter

Happy New Week and Happy New Month (girl) bosses!

The holiday is in full swing and Christmas is in just a few weeks! Can you believe that!? December may be the last month of the year, but we hope that it’s the best one! If there’s any 2018 goal you haven’t met yet on your list, just remember that the year isn’t just over yet; and muster up the courage to finish strong, just like the boss of the girl boss you are.

Speaking of Girl boss, I was delighted to partake in this photo shoot with my mini-me for a “mother-daughter” look in our organic cotton shirts courtesy of @augustmamas. It’s amazing that women are  working hard and crushing goals, like the girls bosses that we are and deserve to be; but what’s even better than that? If you ask me, I would say raising future girl bosses! They are the future, and teaching them to be the best version of themselves, and setting ambitious and “ridiculous” goals starts today! And guess what? It starts with you! This being said, let’s keep those little ones close by; let them see you grinding… most importantly, let them see your positive energy when you do so and let them see you fully enjoy the fruit of that hard work! Be The Role Model! Be The Blueprint!

Here’s to all the girl bosses out there grinding hard, keeping the faith, and staying the course!

To raising future girl bosses! Cheers!
